Mentre Intel sta cercando di utilizzare Wayland su MeeGo Touch per i loro scopi mobile / embedded, il lato Nokia è ancora incentrata sulla X per il momento. Ma invece di usare X con kdrive, sviluppando tutte le loro supporto per X dagli alberi mainline, o scendere tutti i tracciati disordinati altri, stanno lavorando verso l'utilizzo della linea principale del server X. Org come ad esempio le FreeDesktop.org insieme con le altre X librerie.
